The Retail Sales Associate Customer Representative is primarily responsible to: establishing a strong customer relationship - based on trust and responsiveness. The RTACR will oversee Home Depot stores in the following market: Utah, Idaho, Arizona and Colorado. This will include; manage the day-to-day business contact for Home Depot, train the store associates and support the special order team. The RTACR will be responsible for approx. $2.5M in expected sales revenue. In this role, the RTACR will be required to travel 25% of the time (one week a month) and conduct face-to-face product training. The RTACR will also serve a support role with the other Retail Sales Associates with basic account management including; phone questions from Home Depot stores and the RSA for items like order status, inventory inquires and product and installation questions. After 12-to-18 months and exceptional performance; the RTACR should be expected to be promoted to a Retail Sales Associate representative with a larger territory and increased responsibilities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: + Train Home Depot stores on product, installation and how to place orders. + Respond to inquiries, order tracking, technical and installation questions, products and policies + Resolve customer and sales issues in a professional and empathetic manner + Understands and communicate order status and ship dates + Resolve customer issues regarding orders, shipments, products, installation, and pricing + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expedite orders + Answer the phone and help Home Depot with basic product, installation and order questions + Perform quotes including proficiency with SAP, Salesforce, Outlook and other retail IT Tools. We will train the right candidate. + Order entry as needed in peak season + Perform backorder coordination/shipping between out fulfilment team and Home Depot + Maintain customer records in our CRM System + Communicate any variations or schedule delays in customer orders in a timely manner + Actively works on and achieves success with departmental programs focusing on revenue growth. Grow the target market aligned with market expectation with new and same store growth + Educate customers (homeowners) that call in about the product, send marketing samples, and answer technical questions + Support other RSA with any logistics issues regarding orders and support communication with our retail partners including Home Depot and Menards + Accurate - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly is essential. + Excellent Customer Service Skills - Provide friendly customer service, be attentive and listen to our customer's needs. + Communication (Oral) - Ability to communicate with Supervisor, Managers and coworkers is essential. + Decision Making - Ability to make decisions while following all Company safety rules and procedures is essential especially, when working in and around moving high speed equipment. + Detail Orientated - Ability to note minute detail impacting job duties. + Honesty/Integrity - The trait of being truthful and credible within the workplace is essential. + Organized - Ability to follow a systematic method to meet demands of position. + Problem Solving - Ability to proactively find solutions or manage work related problems is important. + Reliability - The trait of being dependable and trustworthy is essential. + Team Building - Ability to convince coworkers to participate in safety, quality and service initiatives in effort to promote Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and capture cost savings is essential. + Working Under Deadline- Ability to complete assigned tasks and maintain production output standards and improving yield under specified deadlines is critical. EDUCATION Minimum associates degree or some college. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 1-2 years of practical customer service experience or inside sales. Or small local outside sales territory.
